Ruben Enikolopov is an ICREA Research Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a Research Professor at Barcelona School of Economics, and a Researcher at Barcelona Institute for Political Economy and Governance. He is also a Research Fellow for the CEPR and CESifo, and a Research Affiliate at the International Growth Centre. His research interests include political economy, economics of mass media, and development economics, with a special focus on the political effects of social media.
He has published various papers in the best academic journals, including Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, American Economic Review, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Review of Economic Studies, Econometrica, etc.
He has held a number of editorial positions and is currently the Chair of the Editorial Board of the Review of Economic Studies and a co-editor of the Journal of Comparative Economics.
